Beaver Ranch Disc Golf Course
Back to Disc Golf Course Overview
The Beaver Ranch Disc Golf course also known as the Conifer course is the staple big-mountain course in Colorado. A short 35-40 min drive up HWY 285 from Denver puts you right at the doorstop of a year-round, top-rated course.

A short-walk in (less then half mile and perfect for stretching the legs) puts you at the intimidating first hole, a straight-uphill behemoth that unless the pin is in the shortest of positions you will wonder what you got yourself in.
Hole 3 and the course begins to take shape showing the variety of terrain challenges, thick trees, quick-fall-offs, and grassy meadows.
Pin placement is a major component of the course and the difference between A placement (short) and B or C can mean a completely different hole. Most of the pins get mixed-up on a regular basis that adds quality to the frequent visitor.
When the Aspen leaves are in full-color, no place is better then the mountains of Colorado. Here Caitlin tosses on Hole #18 during primetime October 16th, 2011:
Hole #16 features a wide-open meadow with some tricky shots. Bret was a little short on the drive and the tee is usually on the back right hidden in the aspens. This photo was taken on Summer Solstice in 2011 (longest day of the year) where we were able to play after work and get a full round in before dark after driving up from Denver!
Met these guys on the course from Minnesota one time. They were digging the course. And yes he did sink this putt:
This used to be the last hole on the course. Now with the redesign it is somewhere in the middle. Also this was probably the last day of Dirt tee-pads as you can see the frame for the concrete.
