Getting to the Simatai portion of the Great Wall was nearly as exciting as this spectacular section of the wall. My newly acquired Chinese was put to the test as I tried to locate the correct bus, negotiate a fair taxi price, and then get back alright. The wall is an intense site to see, and luckily for us this section of the wall is not nearly visited as heavily as other sites (plus a beautiful day). Check it.
